Juicing has been linked to helping prevent diseases such as cancer and diabetes as well as many others.
Many people even report that they have even been able to reverse many diseases just by changing to a raw foods diet and incorporating juicing into their daily meals.
When it comes to choosing a juicer to juice your fresh fruits and veggies, you have many options. Centrifugal juicers are usually less expensive, easier to use, quicker at making juice and easier to clean. On the other hand, a cold press juicer, also known as a masticating juicer, is going to be more expensive, typically more complicated to use, more time consuming and harder to clean.
However, a cold press juicer is going to provide your the best juice possible. The juice made from a cold press juicer can be stored longer, retains more of the vitamins, minerals and enzymes from the fruit and vegetables and in general produces a much healthier juice.
Additionally, masticating juicers do a much better job of juicing leafy greens. They are typically more complicated to use and harder to clean but this is because many of these slow juicers can do more than just juice. They can often process and make foods such as nut butters, sorbet, pasta and baby foods.
